Virginia Gudakunst

Virginia E. (Wistner) Gudakunst died at 1:49 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Dec. 26, 1914, in Nottaway County, Virginia, to John and Myrtle (DeCamp) Wistner.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Merlyn M. Gudakunst, her parents, and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two daughters: Louise (Fred) Hartwig and Kay (Robert) Mawhorter; three grandchildren: Kylee (Roman) Baumlee, Jody (Jesse) Martinez and Kirk Mawhorter and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert.
Private graveside services were held.
Preferred memorials may be directed to Van Wert Inpatient Hospice or Van Wert Children’s Garden.
