Tracy Orsbon, 63, of Van Wert, passed away on December 17, 2025, in Jackson, Michigan, while on a hunting trip.
He was born on July 25, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Jerry Orsbon and Leonie (Weigel) Decker.
A graduate of Northrop High School, Tracy proudly served in the United States Army Airborne Division from 1984 to 1987. He was currently employed with Poseidon Barge in Berne, Indiana.
Tracy was the quintessential outdoorsman. If it involved being outside, he was all in. He especially loved hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.
Tracy is survived by his mother, Leonie Decker of Convoy; his son, Brad (Ashley) Orsbon of Columbus Grove; and his grandchildren: Wesley Vermilion of Van Wert, Anthony Orsbon of Columbus Grove, and Sean Orsbon of Middle Point. He is also survived by his brother, Cola (Trisha) Orsbon of Middlebury, Indiana; and his sister, Cherylann Mowery of Van Wert and step-sister, Angie Phillips of Ohio City.
Also surviving is his fiancée, Pam Murphy, along with her children: A.J. (Courtney) Miller of Michigan and Rachel Miller of Van Wert; and her grandchildren: Caleigh Pitney, Traeton Miller, Kaesyn Miller, Kinley Hamilton, and Kayde Miller.
Tracy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Orsbon, and his stepfather, Larry Decker.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
