Terry Hartman
January 1, 1958 — February 19, 2017
Terry L. Hartman of Convoy, Ohio, died at 7:01 p.m. Feb. 19, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born Jan. 1, 1958, in Van Wert. His mother, Marilyn S. (Hines) Hartman, is deceased. His father, Gary G. Hartman, survives of Van Wert.
His wife, Sandy (Thomas) Hartman, survives of Convoy. They were married Nov. 28, 1981.
Other survivors include children, Shannon Hartman of Convoy, Cassidy (Rusty Taylor) Hartman and Courtney Hartman, both of Van Wert; a brother, Jeff (Tammy) Hartman of Ohio City, Ohio; sisters, Pam (Kevin) Krick of Ohio City and Tami (Jeff) Couts of Van Wert, and his grandchildren, Korbin Hartman, Addison Hartman, Ayla Hartman, Kerric Hartman, Able Mohr, Karter Mohr, Blayze Taylor, Beckham Taylor.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kodi Hartman.
He was a youth specialist with Starr Commonwealth. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities and was an avid fisherman.
Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Ted Kelly will officiate. Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Terry's grandchildren.
