Tamara Boyce

January 6, 1959 — December 31, 2023

Tamara S. Boyce, a loving mother and devoted partner, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the age of 64. Known as Tammy to her loved ones and friends, she was born on January 6, 1959, in Van Wert, to the late Dennis and Betty (Mackin) Kinkle.

Tammy lived a life filled with compassion and selflessness, always putting others before herself. She dedicated 24 years of her career as a production operator to Teijin Automotive Technologies, where she made valuable contributions to the field of composite materials manufacturing. Her commitment and hard work served as an inspiration to her colleagues.

Outside of work, Tammy found solace and joy in nature. She had a green thumb and spent many hours tending to her beautiful garden, reveling in the vibrant colors and fragrant blooms. When she wasn't nurturing her plants or exploring the great outdoors, Tammy could be found cheering for her beloved Michigan Wolverines, displaying unrivaled loyalty.

Tammy's warmth and kindness extended beyond her professional and personal life. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished the moments spent with her children and grandchildren. With her daughter, Jennifer Boyce, and son, Corey (Andrea) Boyce, by her side, Tammy experienced the joys and triumphs of parenthood. She shared a deep bond with her partner of 27 years, John Phillips, who supported her every step of the way.

In addition to her children and life partner, Tamara will be lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings: Brent (Jeanie) Kinkle, Dave Kinkle, Jeff (Phyllis) Kinkle, Leigh Agler, Debi Kinkle, Carol (Steve) Early, Maureen (Ken) Smith, and Beth Heimann. She will also be deeply missed by her adoring grandchildren: Isabella and Abigail Baker, Josiah and Allia Boyce. Tammy's sister, Della Kiehl, preceded her in death.

A private celebration of Tammy's life will take place at the convenience of the family.

In her memory, contributions can be made to Everheart Hospice at www.everhearthospice.org/.

Tamara S. Boyce touched the lives of many during her time on earth, leaving behind a legacy filled with compassion, love, and a genuine concern for others. She will forever be remembered as an angel among us. May her soul find eternal peace.
