VAN WERT, Ohio - Sandra "Sandy" S. Hughes, 66, of Van Wert, died in the late afternoon Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
She was born June 15, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the late Ruby (Parker) Mc Intosh and William "Bill" Mc Intosh.
Survivors include her fiance: Robert "Rick" Schriver of Van Wert; children: Scott (Jan Wells) Williams of Van Wert, and Brett (Holly Baker) Agler of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; brothers: Lonnie (Karen) Mc Intosh of Convoy, Ohio, Mike Mc Intosh of Kentucky; sisters: Pat Decker of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Betty Tyas of Van Wert, Judy (Bill) Hinton of Coopersville, Mich., and Janet (Greg Morehead) Tracy of Convoy, and three grandchildren: Morgan Williams, Tyler Williams and Lillian Agler.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Johnny Mc Intosh and William "Bozo" Mc Intosh, Jr., and a sister: Deloris Mc Intosh.
She was a retired hair dresser.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the Van Wert VFW from 2-5 p.m.
