Rosemary Margaret (Coyne) Brown

Rosemary Margaret (Coyne) Brown, 86, of Convoy, passed away Friday night, June 7, 2024 at her residence.

She was born March 25, 1938, in Adams County, Indiana, to Francis and Mary (Temple) Coyne.

On April 14, 1956, she married Marvin Brown.

Rosie was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, painting, flowers and gardening and she loved The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Rosie had a strong love for all her family. She was known for her contagious, amazing laughter. You could always find a beautiful smile on her face. She always told her family, "love you LOTS!" She left her family with amazing memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

She is survived by 5 of her children, David Brown of Convoy, Mark (Linda) Brown of Decatur, Brent (Becky) Brown of Convoy, Darlene (Tom) Anderson of Convoy and Diana (Ted) Anderson of Convoy; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Richard "Dick" Coyne of Convoy, and James "Jim" (Gladys) Coyne of Decatur; and 3 sisters, Delores "Dolly" Ross of Decatur, Patricia Brown of Monroeville, and Dorothy "Dort" Litchfield of Wisconsin.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mary Coyne; husband, Marvin Brown; 2 sons, Kevin and Scott Brown; a daughter, Marvene Brown; a brother, Francis Coyne, Jr; a grandson, Billy Brown; and 2 great grandsons, Logan Barnes and David Lee Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Gearhart-Sauer Funeral Home, Convoy. Burial will immediately follown in Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM-2:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials may be directed to the family or to Elara Care Hospice Foundation.
