Robert Cahoon

VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Robert M. Cahoon, 58, of Van Wert, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 28, 1955, in Van Wert, to Helen (Emmerth) Cahoon, formerly of Van Wert, and currently of Los Angeles, Calif., and the late James P. Cahoon.
Survivors include his brothers: James P. (Kimberly) Cahoon of Hopewell, N.J., William A. (Heather) Cahoon of Scottsdale, Ariz., Thomas P. Cahoon, Ph.D. of Los Angeles, Calif., and sisters: Dr. Kathleen Cahoon of Cottonwood, Ariz., Cynthia (Paul) Brautigam of St. Marys, Ohio. He is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
He had previously worked in the music industry. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert, and was a graduate of Van Wert High School.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert. Calling hours will be from 9:30-10:30AM prior to the service at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, OH. The Rev. Stan Szybka will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Preferred memorials may be directed to Westwood Behavioral Health Center, Van Wert.
