Richard
Sully
Jun 1, 1953 — Oct 30, 2026
In Loving Memory of Richard Charles Sully Sr.
June 1, 1953 - October 30, 2026
Richard Charles Sully Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 30, 2026, at 10:04 a.m. He was born on June 1, 1953, in Blair, Nebraska, to the late Leo and Phyllis Sully.
Richard was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time outdoors tending to his beloved flower and vegetable gardens. He took great pride in watching the fruits of his labor grow and flourish. His gardens were a reflection of his patience, dedication, and appreciation for the beauty of nature.
Above all, Richard leaves behind a family who will cherish the memories they shared with him. His presence, the stories of his life, and the moments spent together will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Richard is survived by his loving children: Salena (John) Bice, Richie (Jess) Sully, Tavia (Bryan) Wann, Savannah (Jeremy) Adams, and Zachary (Ashley) Sully.
He is also survived by his brothers, Kevin (Kathy) Sully and Greg Sully; his sisters, Cheryl (William) Vahle and Pamela (Keith) Christensen; as well as his 16 cherished grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, who carry on his legacy.
Though Richard will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Just as the flowers he lovingly tended return with each new season, the love and memories he leaves behind will continue to bloom for generations to come.
As a way of celebrating his memory, his family asks that in lieu of flowers or donations that you take time to find a way to be outdoors. Plant a tree, grow a garden, and spend time outside with your loved ones making memories. In this way you will continue to share in the joys of his life as we remember him in all of ours.
Private services will be held at a later date in Nebraska.
Forever loved, never forgotten.
Arrangements entrusted to Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory.
