Richard C. Springer, 93, of Celina, formerly of Rockford, died Wednesday morning, October 25, 2023 at Mercy-St. Rita's in Lima. He was born October 17, 1930, in Rockfor, to Carl E. and Denise (Denman) Springer. On January 18, 1950, he married the former Lois Shope.
He retired from A.B.F. Freight as a truck driver after 34 years of service.
Richard was an avid fisherman and loved to travel with his wife, Lois.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Springer of Celina; his two sons, Jack Springer of Mendon and Rick (Lena) Springer of Wapakoneta; two grandchildren, Brent Springer and Amy Vasquez; and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Judy LaFlam; and a grandson, Nick Kohler.
Private family services will be held. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, will immediately follow.
