Richard Reichert

VAN WERT, Ohio - Richard J. "Rick" Reichert, 58, of Van Wert, died at 7:52 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Jan. 10, 1955, in Celina, Ohio, to Alberta (Volz) Reichert, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Daniel J. Reichert.
Other survivors include a son: Taylor J. Reichert of Grover Hill, Ohio; brother: Joseph (Jo) Reichert of Willshire, Ohio; sister: Rebecca (David) Martz of Middle Point, Ohio, and grandchild: Paigelyn Reichert.
He worked his entire life in the horticulture industry in South Carolina and Ohio.
He was a member of Van Wert Sons of the American Legion. He was an avid sports fan and had coached youth baseball.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Monday, March 18 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert.
