VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Richard Moore, Jr., 57, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at his residence.
He was born May 13, 1956, in Lexington, Ky. His parents, Richard, Sr. and Mary (James) Moore, both survive of Van Wert.
Other survivors include children: Kristian Moore of Kent, Ohio, Derek Moore and Ethan Moore, both of Van Wert, brothers: Raymond (Sylvia) Moore of Van Wert, Michael Moore of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tyrone (Debra) Moore of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and sisters: Mary Turner and Shari (Steven) Darnell, both of Van Wert.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Sharlene Moore.
He had previously worked at General Motors in Defiance, Ohio. He was a member of Pentecostal Way Church in Van Wert.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Visitation will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials may be directed to the family.
