VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Rex A. Mosier, 62, of Van Wert, died at 1:01 a.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice. He was born Nov. 24, 1954, in Van Wert, to N. Eileen (Whitaker) Mosier and Merlin Mosier. His parents are deceased.
Survivors include one child, Raquel (Victor Talha) Donate of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a brother, Mel R. Mosier of Rockford, Illinois; two sisters, Lu Hittle of Middle Point, Ohio, Sally (Dave Wilgus) Bowen of Van Wert, and a grandchild, Zia Talha of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Thompson, and a grandchild, Ariella Talha.
He was a construction worker with Alexander & Bebout and a former member of the Van Wert Moose Lodge.
Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert.
Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
