Raymond Mullen

Raymond E. Mullen, 70, of Van Wert, passed away Sunday morning, March 31, 2019 at Vancrest of Van Wert. He was born August 8, 1948, in Paulding County, to his late parents, Raymond and Jena Alice (Akom) Mullen.

Ray was a kind and simple person who enjoyed being outside, mowing grass and caring for the grounds at Thomas Edison, and horse racing. He loved having and maintaining his independence. He was loving and caring, and was always laughing.

He is survived by a brother, Terry Mullen of Van Wert; many cousins; his friends, aides and supervisors at Thomas Edison; and special friends and neighbors, Nick Styer and Wayne Williams, who always kept an eye out for Ray.
