Mozell Isbell, 81, of Rockford, Ohio, died on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at 3:05 p.m. at Celina Manor, Celina, Ohio, where she had been a patient. She was born on September 10, 1928 in Fett, Alabama, the daughter of Rayburn Howard and Trudie (Kelly) Davis. In 1948, she married Elvie Lawson Isbell, who preceded in death on May 2, 1991. She was a housewife and lived in the Rockford area for the past 41 years. Surviving are 2 sons: Tom Isbell of Wapakoneta, Ohio and Donald Isbell of Rossburg, Ohio. Five daughters survive: Joyce Winget of Celina, Ohio, Diane(Rodney)Rodeheffer, Rossburg, Ohio, Shirley (Dan) Steiner, Sharlene (Bret) Jones, and Judy Welch, all three of Rockford. Four deceased sons: Thomas Eugene, Bobbie, Rob, and an infant Billy Jo Isbell. Seventeen grandchildren survive, and several great grandchildren. There are also brothers and sisters surviving. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, Ohio with Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in Neptune Cemetery, Center Township, Neptune, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 5-8 pm and on Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
