Milo "Steve" Evans, 56, of Rockford, died Thursday, February 7, 2013, in Van Wert. He was born August 28, 1956, in Celina, the son of Danny Evans, who survives in Portland, Ind., and June (Now) Huston, who survives in Rockford. On August 20, 1983, in West, Texas, he married S. Kim (Drews) Evans, who survives in Rockford. Other survivors include his stepmother, Brenda Evans of Portland, Ind.; his stepfather, Chalmer Huston of Rockford; three sons, Joshua (Brittanie) Evans of Parma, Gabriel (Kristin) Evans of Van Wert and Joseph Evans of Rockford; a brother, Brian (Tammy) Evans of Rockford; one sister, Janet (Jeff) Daily of New Haven, Ind.; two grandsons; and two brothers-in-law, Michael (Rita) Jones of Axtel, Texas, and Max (Pam) Jones of Whitney, Texas. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 10, at Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert, with Pastor Steve Savage officiating.
