Interment
Michael "Mike" William Miller, 66, of Grover Hill, passed away on March 23, 2026, at The Meadows of Delphos after a brief illness. He was born on September 24, 1959, to Cloyd and Dorothy Miller. On May 6, 1989, Mike married Jana Lake, and together they shared 37 wonderful years.
Mike was employed at C&Y Oil in Payne, Ohio, for more than 20 years. He truly enjoyed his work and will be deeply missed by his coworkers and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Miller; his children, Allie (Josh) Litmer of Celina and Jordan (Katie) Miller of Grover Hill; and his mother, Dorothy Miller of Grover Hill. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren - Clairissa and Paislee Miller, and Maria and Madilynn Litmer - who brought him endless joy. Additional survivors include his sister, Debra (Elmer) Pohlman; his brother, Douglas (Sherry) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Cloyd Miller, on March 7, 2026.
A sports enthusiast through and through, Mike loved cheering on the Fort Wayne Komets, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed camping, riding through the Amish countryside, and cruising around on the golf cart. He was often found trying his luck with scratch-off lottery tickets. Over the years, Mike had many dogs, all of whom he loved dearly - especially his current companions, Remi and his best girl, Hazel.
Above all, Mike cherished time spent with his family, particularly his granddaughters. He was always ready for a good water fight with his granddaughter Rissa and the garden hose, creating memories they will hold close forever.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, 722 S. Washington Street, Van Wert, OH 45891, with Rev. Mike Waldron officiating. Interment will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, March 29, and again from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Monday, March 30, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grover Hill Fire Department.
Condolences may be shared on Mike's online memorial at www.alspachgearhart.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory.
