Mary Dohmen
February 29, 1940 — October 20, 2012
Mary Lou G. Dohmen, 72, of Van Wert, died early Saturday morning, October 20, 2012, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert. She was born February 29, 1940, in Heerlen, The Netherlands, the daughter of the late Wiel and Lieske (Houppermans) Dohmen. She married Joe G. Dohmen, who survives in Van Wert. Other survivors include three children, Leslie Dohmen of Mishawaka, Ind., William (Jennifer) Dohmen of Waterdown, Ontario, Canada, and Joseph (Lauri) Dohmen of Portage, Ind.; three sisters, Til Dohmen and Anne Frederiks, both of Heerlen, The Netherlands, and Tonny Hanssen of Rimbug, The Netherlands; for four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Stan Szybka officiating.
