Margaret Robinson

Margaret Louise Robinson, 83, of Rockford, formerly of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, passed away 12:59 AM on Monday, October 24, 2022 at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born on March 06, 1939, in Kirkland Township, IN; to the late William and Naomi (Deeren) Griffiths. On January 20, 1973, she married Bobby Robinson. Together they shared many years of memories.

Margaret was a hairdresser for many years before retiring to Kentucky with Bobby in 1991. Upon his death in 2014, she returned to the area in 2014. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Chattanooga, OH where she taught bible school.

Margaret enjoyed quilting and was a gifted artist and painter. She was a member of the garden club and the Red Hat Society, and could always make others laugh.

Surviving are her sons: Frederick Duane (Dianna) Ehlerding of Decatur, IN; daughter, Jayne (Dwight "Ike") Longsworth of Rockford, OH; stepsons: Bobby Ray (Jeni) Robinson of Decatur, IN; Dr. Troy (Anthony Spears) Robinson of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Nolan Griffiths of Decatur, IN; sister, Evelyn Zurcher of Celina, OH; sister-in-law: Carolyn Griffiths of Decatur; many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Ehlerding; stepsons: Timothy Robinson, Dennis Robinson; brother, Keith T. Griffiths; brother-in-law, Marvin Zurcher; and sister-in-law, Lorraine A. Griffiths.

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church, 9716 State Route 49, Rockford, Ohio, 45882.

Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband in Robinson Cemetery in Rockcastle County, KY at a later date.
