Kathy Fair

Kathy Ann Fair, 57, of Rockford passed away at 12:55 PM on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Tranquility of Rockford. She was born on August 26, 1964, in Mercer County, to the late William G. and Beverly J. (Hoaglin) Fair.

Kathy was a 1982 graduate of Mendon-Union High School and Vantage Career Center. Kathy was a lifetime farmer. She was a member of numerous rabbit associations and enjoyed raising and caring for rabbits, chickens and ducks. Kathy had a remarkable sense of humor and a heart of gold.

Surviving are her aunt, Janet Hoaglin of Van Wert; cousins, Rodney (Karen) Hoaglin, David (Evelyn) Hoaglin and Vickie (Steve) Thatcher; and special friends, Karla and Bruce Fent.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by an infant brother, Joseph Gordon Fair.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory, Van Wert, with Rev. Randy Christian, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory.

Memorials given in Kathy's memory may be directed to the Mercer County or Van Wert County Jr Fair 4-H Rabbit and Poultry projects.
