Kathleen M. “Casey Sue” Burk, 71, of Van Wert, died at 3:17 AM, February 11, 2016 at Van Wert Manor, Van Wert. She was born April 5, 1944 in Rockford, Ohio to the late Harry and Bertha (Daughtery) Beougher.
A 1963 graduate of Parkway High School, Casey Sue formerly attended the Nazarene Church of Van Wert until its closing and then she attended the Van Wert Apostolic Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, jig saw puzzles and word puzzles of all kinds.
She is survived by her children: Shawn (Renee) Burk of Ohio City, OH; Christina (Mark) Nowak of Grover Hill, OH; brother, Frank (Alice) Beougher of Coldwater, OH; sisters: Mary Lou Thorson of Illinois; Marilyn Kline of Van Wert, OH; Eileen West of Van Wert, OH; Linda (Marvin) Fosnough of Indiana; Shirley Sutton of Van Wert, OH; Janell (Larry ) Williams of Wapakoneta, OH; Grandchildren: Jayson Nowak, Steven Burk and Rebecca Burk
In addition to her parents, Casey Sue was preceded in death by her twin sister, Katherine Beougher; and two brothers: Raymond and Dan Beougher.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, February 15, 2016 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, OH, where a funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 16, 2016 with Wayne Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Otterbein Cemetery at a later date.
