VAN WERT, Ohio - Judith A. Pratt, 70, of Van Wert died at 11:25 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at her residence.
She was born March 8,1943 in Van Wert to Paul Pruden and Helen (McCarthy) Pruden, both of whom are deceased.
She married David D. Pratt. He died March 28,1989.
Surviving is a daughter: Tina K. (James) Allen, Van Wert, Ohio; two brothers: Ronald E. Pruden, Van Wert, OH; Douglas D. (Jenny) Pruden I, Van Wert, OH; three grandchildren: David "DJ" G. Pratt, Jessica D. Allen, Jason D. Allen; and all "The Kids" she helped raise.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul L. Pratt; three nieces: Christina Marie (Pruden) Boyd, Deana D. (Pruden) Ladd, and Sara M. (Deckard) Roberts; and two nephews: Raymond E. Fabian & Raymond P. Showalter.
Her loving dog, Dessie, will be buried with her.
She was retired from Teleflex in Van Wert after 37 years.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Pastor Dale Bolenbaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Convoy IOOF Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
