Joshua C. Brown

Joshua C. Brown, 31, of Van Wert, died at 2:00pm on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Vancrest of Van Wert.

He was born April 30, 1994, in Fort Wayne, to Dwayne C. and Pamela I. (Booher) Brown.

Josh graduated from Van Wert High School and Vantage Career Center through the Buildings and Grounds program. He was formerly employed at Harbor Freight in Van Wert.

He was a member of the Sons of American Legion in Van Wert. Josh enjoyed hanging out with his friends and he loved to cook, especially on the grill.

Josh is survived by his brother, Jeremy Brown, Van Wert; two uncles, Les L. Brown, Jr of Van Wert, and John Wallace of Van Wert; and two aunts, Jenny (Mark) Nofer of Van Wert, and Linda (Brian) Lee of Harmony, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Les L., Sr and Roxie Brown; maternal grandmother, Agnes Booher; and an aunt, Lucinda "Cindy" Wallace.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
