James Comer

VAN WERT, Ohio a�" James L. Comer, 72, of Van Wert, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at Hearth & Home of Van Wert.
He was born July 7, 1942, in Van Wert, to the late Garnett A. (Sowers) Comer and Leroy G. Comer.
Survivors include his sisters: Diane (Larry) Games of Mason, Ohio, and Jan (Brent) Van Horn of Pickerington, Ohio.
He worked at General Electric in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Van Wert. He was a veteran of United States Air Force and a former member of Van Wert American Legion.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Will Haggis will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Military graveside services will be provided by the Van Wert posts of the American Legion and VFW.
Visitation is 12-1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Alzheimer's Association.
