James M. Adelblue Jr

James M. Adelblue Jr., age 63 of Ohio City, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by those he loved most on August 30, 2026. He was born on August 3, 1963, in Van Wert, Ohio, to James and Shirley (Bohner) Adelblue. On June 7, 1986, he married Cherie Kipp, the love of his life.

Jim graduated from Ohio City-Liberty High School and devoted 35 years to Danfoss in Van Wert.

Above all, Jim cherished his role as a husband, dad, and grandpa. He lived a life dedicated to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cherie Adelblue, and their family, Katie and Will Merley and granddaughter Carter, and Cody and Oliva Adelblue and grandchildren Henry and Joanna. Jim loved the Lord and his family finds great comfort in knowing they will be reunited one day in His presence.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, his wife, children, and grandchildren will celebrate his life with a private service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim's honor to Community Health Professionals-Hospice.
