LIMA - J. Evan Rees, 68, of Annapolis, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, OH.
He was born on December 29, 1942 in Van Wert, OH to John and Evelyn (Mace) Rees, both of whom are deceased. He married V. Jane (Scheiderer) Rees, who is also deceased.
He was also preceded in death by one niece and one nephew.
Rees is survived by his children, Kira (John) Gleeson of Lothian, MD and Steven J. Rees of Davidsonville, MD; a brother, Hayden Rees of Delphos; and six grandchildren.
He was a retired insurance agent in Maryland.
A private family service will be held, followed by a burial at Horeb Cemetery, Van Wert County, OH.
