Helen Meeks

Helen L. Meeks, 80, of Van Wert, died at 8:28 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born December 14, 1932, in Scott, the daughter of the late Delmas and Stella (McCray) Baer. She married Carl E. Meeks, who survives in Van Wert. Other survivors include a son, Kevin Meeks of Tucson, Ariz.; and one brother, David (Anita) Baer of Van Wert. Three brothers, Jerry, Charles and Eugene Baer, also preceded her in death. Funeral services and burial will be conducted at a later date in Tucson, Ariz., at the family's convenience. There will be no calling hours.
