Helen Heath

CONVOY, Ohio - Helen C. Heath, 92, of Convoy, died at 12:55 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Vancrest of Convoy, Convoy.
She was born April 6, 1919, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Nellie (Severns) Smith and Harvey C. Smith. She married Glenn D. Heath, Sr. on June 14, 1939. He died in 1966.
Survivors include her children: Connie (Earl) Hainline of Rockford, Ohio, Glenn Heath, Jr. of Toutle, Wash., William (Janice) Heath of Convoy and Robert Heath of Greeley, Colo.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Nancy Thompson and Debra Heath, her brothers: George, Clarence, Bernard, Kenneth and Merlin Smith and a sister: Eva Halliwell.
She was a homemaker and a member of Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church, Convoy. She was a volunteer at several organizations and loved cooking and crafting. She was the last of her immediate family.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church, Convoy. The Rev. Wayne Karges will officiate.
Friends may call one hour prior to service at the church.
Preferred memorial is the church or Convoy EMS.
