Harold Clifton

OHIO CITY, Ohio - Harold G. Clifton, 82, of Ohio City, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Wren, Ohio, to the late Helen R. (Barnett) Clifton and William M. Clifton. His wife, Marilyn (Kraner) Clifton, survives of Ohio City.
Other survivors include his children: Deborah Hankins, Cathy Elzey and Rebecca (Dan) Pierce, all of Decatur, Ind., Lance (Melanie) Clifton and Gary (Lisa) Clifton, both of Ohio City, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Wright.
He retired from International Harvester, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Preferred memorial is Community Health Professionals- Hospice program.
