Gregory A. Grunden, 57, of Wapakoneta, died at 4:43 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017, in Lima, Ohio.
He was born Nov. 8, 1958, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Barbara (Schmidt) Grunden and Edward Grunden. His parents are deceased.
Survivors include a brother, Steve (Tammy Luebrecht) Grunden of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Lynne Freeland of Van Wert; stepmother, Shirley Waltmire of Van Wert; stepsisters, Kathy O’Sullivan of Van Wert and Kelly (Chris) Stemple of Arizona; stepbrother, Tim O’Sullivan of New York, and nieces, Alexa and Katlyn Freeland of Van Wert.
He was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert and loved to fish and read.
Service is planned for 4 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Steve Savage will officiate. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is to the family for final expenses.
