Gordon Eugene Kittle, 79, of Rockford, Ohio, died early Sunday morning, December 6, 2020, at the Laurels of Shane Hill. He was born in Farmersville, Ohio, on April 13, 1941, the son of Naman Eugene and Vera Maxine (Gordon) Kittle. He married Georgia Ann Pugh on December 19, 1964, and she preceded in death on January 14, 2000. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and was a technician for GTE and later Verizon, where he retired in 1996. He lived most of his life in the area, and enjoyed working on radios, hunting, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons: Ricky (Monica) Kittle of Willshire, Ohio and Travis (Brenda) Kittle of Van Wert, Ohio; five grandchildren: Ashley (Josh) Beaty, Paige (Brandon) Miller, Cody Kittle, Adah Nolan, and Ian (Alice) Kittle; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers: John Robert Kittle and Samuel Kittle. Deceased are his parents, and wife, Georgia, two brothers, James Kittle and Jerry Kittle; and a sister, Martha Sue Claxton.
