Fred Tumbleson

Convoy, Ohio

Fred Tumbleson, 81, of Convoy, was reunited with his wife, Sandra, in heaven on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

He was born October 6, 1942, in Decatur, Indiana, to Jesse and Mamie (Cully)Tumbleson.

Fred was a member of the first graduating class at Crestview High School.

He retired from B.F. Goodrich, Woodburn, after 35 years of service.

Fred was a long time member of the Convoy Fox Hunter's and the Long Lake Fishermens Association. He was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, and an avid fisherman. Most importantly, Fred loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Craig (Kim) Tumbleson of Convoy and Tony Tumbleson of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Lindsey (Josh) Davis, Brodie Tumbleson and Dylan Tumbleson; great grandchildren, Camden and Colton Davis; a brother, Bill (Joan) Tumbleson of Wren, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandra (Brunner) Tumbleson; and a step sister, Lou Ann Wallick.

A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Convoy Fox Hunter's, starting at 5:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Convoy Fire & E.M.S. or to the Convoy Fox Hunters.
