Franklin D. Collier, 78, of Celina and formerly of Van Wert, died at 3:58 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at The Garden in Celina. He was born March 17, 1934, in Wallins Creek, Ky., the son of the late E.B. and Ruby (Gampher) Collier. Survivors include several cousins. A brother (in infancy) also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials: Donor's choice.
