Ethel Reynolds, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on August 21, 2026, at her daughter's residence after a brief illness.

Born on April 4, 1937, in Warren, IN, Ethel was the daughter of the late Clayton and Avis (Jaques) Sheets. She retired from Parkview Regional Medical Center after 37 years of dedicated service in housekeeping.

Ethel enjoyed watching true‑crime and murder‑mystery programs on the Investigation Discovery channel. She also loved good food and cherished every moment spent with her family.

She is survived by her children: Rich (Harriet) Hire of Ohio City; Scott (Willette) Decker of West Virginia; Jeanne (Dennis) Crooks of Fort Wayne; and Steven (Terri) Hire of Florida; along with seven grandchildren and fifteen great‑grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Hilton, and her brother, Harold Sheets.

Ethel will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery during a private committal service.
