Eleanor Hoover

Eleanor M. Hoover, 90, of Paulding; passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at The Gardens of Paulding. She was born on July 11, 1933, in Van Wert, to the later Clarence and Margaret (Klinger) Dominique.

Eleanor found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She could often be found playing Bingo at The Gardens of Paulding, cooking delicious meals for her loved ones and caring for her indoor plants. Her affection for animals extended to her beloved cats, who provided her with companionship and comfort.

Eleanor is survived by her loving son, Vernon Dominique of Paulding; cousin, Gerald Harting of Convoy; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by two sons: James and Jerry Dominique.

Funeral services for Eleanor will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Wayne Karges presiding. Interment will follow in Convoy IOOF Cemetery.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral on Thursday, from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home.
