Doyt Crouch

Doyt M. Crouch, 81, Rockford, died Monday August 16, 2010 at 2:10 p.m. at his home. He was born July 1, 1929, to Ray and Jennie (Shaffer) Crouch. On November 18, 1950, he married Carolyn Jackson, who survives. Surviving are one son: Robert M. Crouch, Ferndale, Michigan; two daughters: Rebecca (Mick) Downey, Mendon, and Brenda (Terry) Henning, St. Mary's; three brothers: Dale (Eileen) Crouch, John (Carol) Crouch, both of Tipp City, Ohio, and Jack Crouch, Newark, Ohio; two sisters: Marilyn Roebuck, Lima, and Judy Cummins, Columbus; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Deceased is one brother Carl Crouch. He was a 1949 graduate of Rockford High School and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Mary's. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Hopewell Church, Celina, and American Legion Post #508. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday August 20, 2010, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Debra Domeier officiating. Military services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Calling is from 2-8 p.m . Thursday August 19 and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorials may be sent to St. John Lutheran Hopewell Church, or Community Health Professionals of Celina.
