Donald L. Martin, Sr, 76, of Ohio City, Ohio, passed away at 3:47pm on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Ohio Health- Van Wert Hospital.
He was born on May 15, 1948, in Lima, to Ernie and Dorothy (Crider) Martin.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Army.
He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Donald was a retired truck driver and cook.
He is survived by 9 children, Donald (Roberta) Martin, Jr, Rhonda (Rick) Martin, Melvin Martin, Brandy Martin, Pam (Stanley) Ditto, Dustin Martin, Jonathan (Kaitlin) Martin, Ronald (Ashley) Martin and Amanda Martin; 30 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Daniel Martin; a grandchild; and 2 brothers.
Services will be held at a later date.
