Craig Thomas

Craig A. Thomas, 80, formerly of Mendon, Ohio died Thursday night, January 8, 2026 at Divine Nursing and Rehab at Shane Hill in Rockford, Ohio. He was born September 27, 1945 in Lima, Ohio and was the son of the late Martha J. Thomas.

On August 3, 1968 Craig married the former Patricia Berry, who preceded him in death on August 30, 2005.

He retired from Trim Trends in Spencerville, where he worked for many years.

In addition to his wife Patricia, Craig was also preceded in death by his children, Sandy, Dale, James, and Johnny Thomas, as well as his aunt and uncle who raised him, Ruth and Larry Freed.

Surviving are a half brother, Bryan Prine of Tucson, Arizona; half sister, Diana Kalb of Phoenix, Arizona; and two nieces, Laura Kalb of San Francisco, California, and Laura Mailloux of Monroe, Indiana.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, a private burial will be held at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina, Ohio.
