VAN WERT, Ohio - Catherine Cleo Tindall, 97, of Van Wert, died at 2:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Van Wert Manor, Van Wert.
She was born July 31, 1915, in Decatur, Ind., to the late Lily Marie (Butler) Tindall and Ora Ross Tindall.
Survivors include a sister: Marjorie Tindall of Van Wert, a sister-in-law: Jody Tindall of Frankfort, Ind.; a brother-in-law: Floyd Sinning of Guymon, OK, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers: Ora Ross, Jr., Richard, Robert, John (Bill), Samuel, and three sisters: Gladys Sinning, Doris Sinning, Ruth Tindall.
She was a homemaker and helped raise her younger siblings.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Tommy Sandefer will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Manor Activities Fund.
