Bruce Ganger

Bruce E. Ganger, 58, of Rockford died Monday evening, July 7, 2025 at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville. He was born May 14, 1967 in Sidney, Ohio and was the son of the late Homer (Charlene) Ganger, and Carol Huber (Clifford) Longsworth.

He was married to Robin Marie Ganger, who preceded him in death on June 29, 2025.

Bruce worked for Maharg's Trash Service for many years. He was a member of the Rockford Fraternal Order of Eagles post #1292. He loved the outdoors. Bruce enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. He also loved cooking, especially over an open fire. One of his favorite meals to cook was rabbit stew.

Surviving are one step-daughter, Wendy McNerney; six siblings, Jeff Ganger, Mark (Christa) Ganger, Jeff Longsworth, Nichole Sites, Clifford Longsworth, Jr., and John Longsworth; one grandson, Tyson McNerney; and many many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, parents, and step-parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his sisters, Cindy Brockman, and Nancy Williams; brother, Daniel Ganger; and two grandchildren, Alisha and Brandon Eisenhut.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday morning, July 14, 2025, at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 West First Street, Rockford, Ohio 45882. Pastor Christian Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3133 US-33, Rockford, Ohio 45882.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday night, July 13, 2025, at the funeral home.
