Beverly Nighswander
July 9, 1942 — April 28, 2017
Beverly J. Nighswander, 74, Van Wert, died at 9:06 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born July 9, 1942, in Mercer County, Ohio, to Betty (Barnes) Smith and Clarence Smith. Her parents are deceased.
Her husband, Larry Nighswander, survives of Van Wert.
She is survived by two daughters, Holly DeZorzi and Marcia (Bob) Berg; one stepdaughter, Amy Nighswander; a brother, Larry (Vicki) Smith; a sister, Darlene (Mark) Fisher, and her grandchildren, Julie DeZorzi, Melissa DeZorzi, Colin Kaline and Kelsey Kaline. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She had worked at Aeroquip Corporation in Van Wert. She was also a caregiver, foster parent and a foreign exchange student host. She attended Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert.
Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert. The Rev. Clark Williman will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Van Wert County, Ohio.
Visitation is 2 -6 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
Preferred memorial may be directed to the family.
