Angela Marie "Angie" Harner, 47, of Rockford, Ohio died Tuesday afternoon, December 23, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born October 21, 1978 in Coldwater, Ohio and was the daughter of Barry Harner of Mendon, Ohio and Julia (Schilling) King and Mark King of Rockford, Ohio.
Angie was an aesthetician and operated a business from her home until she went back to school to earn her licensed practical nursing degree. She went on to work as a nurse at several area nursing homes. Angie was known for her "funny farm" - a farm at her home that housed a wide variety of animals. But her family would like her to be remembered as a brave fighter. Angie courageously fought rare esophageal cancer, managing to live much longer than most people who suffer from this disease are able to.
In addition to her parents, Angie is survived by her daughter, Chloe (Matt) Zink of Celina, Ohio; a brother, Bryant Harner of Dothan, Alabama; a sister, Abbey (Ed) Everett of Rockford, Ohio; step siblings, Charity (Tim) Pryor of Columbus, Ohio and Josh (Kelli) King of Arizona; four nieces, Alli Harner, Mecaylah Hesse, Aisley Everett, and Brynlee Everett; her nephew, Braxton Ford; several step nieces and nephews; her precious dogs, Romeo, Sebastian, and Cordelia Rose; and her pet pig, Hamlet "Piggy" Smalls.
