Phyllis Davis

Phyllis L. Davis, 80, of Van Wert, Ohio died at 10:45 AM on Tuesday, April 03, 2018 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Van Wert.  She was born August 25, 1937 in Van Wert to the late Pearl and Marie (Gay) Lane.

She is survived by daughters, Debra Estes of Van Wert and Tina (Larry) Kaiser of Harrod, Ohio; grandchildren, Chasity (Brent) Sidle, John Sudduth, Joshua (Shelly) Sudduth, Raymond (Breanne) Sudduth, Nicholas Kaiser, Larry (Jennifer) Kaiser, II, Josh Kaiser, James Estes and Cassy Racioppi; and great grandchildren, Landyn, Bradley, Austin, Skylar, Keaton, Killian, Caitlin and Layla Sudduth, Henrietta, Misa and Roland Kaiser, Amanda Hattery, Christine Horstman, and Dalton and Chloe Sidle; and a great-great grandchild, Caden Hattery.

Phyllis retired from Vancrest Healthcare Center in Van Wert and had also worked at Wendy’s in Van Wert.  She attended Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert and was a member of the former Faith Baptist Church, also in Van Wert.  She was very involved with the Van Wert County Council on Aging.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis is also preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Wagonrod; and a son in law, Dave Estes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert with Rev. Clark Williman officiating.  Burial will follow at Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
