Noel Laukhuf

Noel Thomas Laukhuf, 52, of Van Wert, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, June 26, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Born on June 22, 1966, in Van Wert to William & Janice Laukhuf.

After graduating from Van Wert High School in 1984, he attended Miami University and was elected to the Mortar Board Society his first semester. He attended a nursing school in Chicago then became an entrepreneur driven to serve with the utmost integrity and a tireless work ethic.

Noel was an adventurous spirit that lived and loved the fullest life by gifting the world with his immeasurable generosity and thoughtfulness. He was a warrior who fought a courageous battle for his life over the last year.

He is survived by his parents, Kelly Kirk Laukhuf (wife), Ava Noël (daughter), sisters: Treva (Gary) Steele, Trenna (Tom) Elliott, Kara (Edward) Cobb, and Laurel (David) Wolma; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth (JohnLuke) Lewis, Maria and Rebekah Elliott, Jordyn and Justin Steele; Eisley and Syrus Wolma and his aunts and uncles.

Noel’s brother-in-law, Pastor Tom Elliott will be officiating.

Visitation is on Friday, June 29, from 4pm to 8p.m at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory and Saturday from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.

Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 30, at 11am at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.

He will be laid to rest at the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, near Latty, OH.

Noel was compassionate about how the Sojourn Outreach helps those in need find salvation and a brotherly community.

He will be missed by all.
