Linda Ralston

Linda L. Ralston, 71, of Van Wert, Ohio, passed away 5:56 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born December 9, 1946 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Robert E. and Lillian M. (Wagoner) Eversole.

A 1965 graduate of Van Wert High School, Linda went on to marry the love of her life, Wendel L. Ralston. She was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and worked for herself, cleaning homes before working at the jewelry department at Walmart.

Linda enjoyed being a Campfire Leader, where she earned Leader of the Year. She also gave freely of her time volunteering for the Crochet Club at Calvary Evangelical Church. She loved to travel the US with Wendel in their 5th-wheel and staying at their Michigan trailer.

She is survived by her husband, Wendel Ralston of Van Wert; son, David (Shellie) Ralston of Wren, Ohio; daughter, Lori Ralston of Indianapolis, Indiana;   sister, Cheryll (Robert) Tangeman of Van Wert, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Alli and Avery Delbridge.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2018 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2018 at the funeral home, and again one hour prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers and memorial gifts, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
