Doris Kindell

Doris Marie Kindell, 87, of Van Wert, passed away at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at CHP Van Wert Inpatient Hospice. She was born September 5, 1930, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Alice (Cromes) Todd.

On August 4, 1950, Doris married the love of her life, Stanely H. Kindell. Together they had eight children.

Doris is survived by her husband, Stanley, of Van Wert; children, Nancy (Rex) Replogle of Van Wert; Mike (Nancy)Kindell of Van Wert; Elaine Langenderfer of Findley; Rex Kindell of Tipp City; Scott Kindell of Van Wert; David Kindell of Convoy; sister, Lois Rohr of Conover, OH; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren .

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sons, Timothy and Brian Kindell; grandson, Michael Kindell, Jr.; son-in-law, Dutch Langenderfer; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Kindell; sister, Charlene Curtner; brothers, Robert, Richard & James Todd; and sister-in-law, Lora Todd.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday. January 20, 2018 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Greg Wack officiating. Private interment will be in Miami Memorial in Covington, Ohio on Monday, January 22, 2018.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
